Easy Homemade Doggy Meatball Treats

Easy Homemade Doggy Meatball Treats

I made some very easy to make meatball treats for my petrified foster dog. He is very picky about what he will eat and he will only take meat treats from my hand. These meatballs do not contain any extra spices. I only used two ingredients. Ground meat and an egg. I made one batch with ground pork and another with ground beef.

I first lightly beat an egg in a large bowl.

I then added the ground meat and kneaded the two ingredients together.

I rolled the meat into balls. I cooked some meat balls in a frying pan.

I cooked some meat balls in a frying pan and baked some in the oven on a broiler pan. I baked them at 350 degrees for about 20 minutes.

I had some extra meat so I decided to make some meat rolls as well.

  1. I was wondering if you could dehydrate these to make them crunchy? our lab mix likes a little crunch sometimes

    • Hi Courtney, Thank you for your question. Sharon hasn’t tried dehydrating fruit, but we’d love to know how it turns out if you decide to give it a try!
